Read the Reviews

What you’ll find below are real words from real readers who’ve laughed, cried, swooned, and maybe even cussed a little while reading my stories. I write Black love the way it feels—raw, messy, healing, and honest. Whether it’s the ride-or-die energy, the hood kings with soft hearts, or the women finding strength in love and in themselves—you’ll see it all through their reviews.

Move over, basic love triangles—Shiloh and Amadeus are here to redefine complicated. This sizzling debut in the Montgomery Brothers series delivers high-stakes drama, forbidden longing, and enough twists to leave you gasping for air.

Our FMC, Shiloh, is no damsel in distress—she’s the daughter of an oil tycoon who’s stuck between her father’s controlling expectations and her not-so-prince-charming fiancé. Enter Amadeus “Mozart” Montgomery, a billionaire hotel mogul and a crime boss with a soft spot for Shiloh. Their chemistry is undeniable, but when Shiloh drops the bomb that she’s engaged, they agree to stay “just friends.”

What I loved: Amadeus is the perfect mix of dangerous and dreamy—think bad boy vibes, but he’s running a luxury hotel empire on the side. And Shiloh? She’s a relatable queen who’s trying to balance her duty to her family with her own happiness. You’ll be rooting for her every step of the way.

If you love billionaire romances with a dash of crime, angst, and a slow-burn connection that hurts so good, you need to read this book. Just be warned: once you finish, you’ll be dying for the next installment. Hurry up, Montgomery Brothers book two—I need answers!

Porschea, I am so proud of you. This book grabbed my attention from the start, I been reading your books since the beginning. The way you have matured in your writing is amazing. I know your babies are very proud of you. Now about the book, I love almost all the characters, I understand there is always some type of villain in books but your villains were something else. I love the relationship between Myeke, O'Hajee, and Zoie. I just truly enjoyed every page.

Best read of the year so far! I didn’t read the first version on this book but I can tell you this is straight fire. I LOVE a good long well thought out story. The characters were developed. The storyline flowed well and made sense. I think Monique was my favorite. Since went through it. It goes to show all that glitters isn’t gold. I can’t wait to visit the manor again.
